This is ranked according to what made Darkura shiver with glee. Besides, I do have an evil alter-ego called "Darkura" and she's basically my really sadistic side. There's always a good and bad ending in VNs so I think it's not that unusual to have a Bad Ending that you really like or prefer. Now on to my Awards! Please do note that there are separate lists for DMMd and Re:Connect and that the lists are listed in ascending order (i.e. By the time that I realised what was going on, I was actually having fun figuring out which "theme" is next! Hahahahahaha! I think they managed to touch on everything from BDSM to Exhibitionism to Beastiality (Virus and Trip's AllMates anyone?). One really amusing observation that I have is that between DMMd and Re:Connect (though I really only noticed it during Re:Connect) Nitro+CHiRAL made sure that each sex scene follows a certain porn cliche (or maybe theme is a better term?). So in DMMd, you get to hear the themes during the Bad Ending's credits and since it is a bad ending most of the songs either had a dark tone or haunting melody to it and in Re:Connect, the themes are played during the Good Endings so most of them had a really light hearted, feel good melody to them (except Virus and Trips but theirs can't really be called a Good Ending anyway. I liked the fact that the songs also more or less matched the mood of the ending. the song that played at the end of their routes). There are some pieces that you only hear in certain character routes but there's still a lot that was repeated in each route. The BGMs are really nice too but considering that I had to technically go through the routes five times in DMMd and around ten times in Re:Connect, I kinda end up getting bored over them.
One thing I also loved about DMMd and Re:Connect is the music! I absolutely loved the music! Now, I'm talking about the OPs and EDs. I have finally finished DRAMAtical Murder and DRAMAtical Murder Re:Connect! Considering that it's my very VN, I'm not really sure how it compare to others but based on the story alone, I'd say that it was really well written! I love how each route somehow connects with each other and there are little pieces in each route that gives you hints as to what the big picture is! Of course everything is revealed in the "True Route" but there are little tidbits that doesn't really appear in the true route and you'll have to look out for them.
